It is also the ideal spot to admire the various boats. You’ll discover racing boats and yachts, but also more traditional vessels. The ideal occasion to see different boats, in a Mediterranean setting.
History of the Voiles de Saint Tropez
It all began one night of 1981. Two skippers decide to take the challenge and sail around the buoy of Nioulargo and race to the Club 55, a restaurant in the bay of Saint Tropez, at the beach of Pampelonne. Ever since, this race takes place every year. After an accident and a 4 year interruption, this boat-race is rebaptised as “les Voiles de Saint Tropez”.
The Parc Montana is the ideal spot to admire the race and welcomes sailing fanatics.
