The Côte-d’Azur is very lively in summer. A great number of festive events, such as the French National Holiday, are the ideal occasion to admire glittering fireworks. The yearly Pyrotechnics Art Festival of Cannes is a unique event thanks to the extraordinary firework shows. From 14 July to 24 August, like other years, the best firework specialists from all over the world will represent their country with a specific theme. If they convince the jury, they’ll get a silver statuette and access to next year’s competition to win the golden statuette. A jury prize and public prize will also be distributed. Every night, this colourful event attracts thousands of visitors to the bay of Cannes.
